Talking practical monitoring at Partners in Project Green

We presented practical approaches to industrial monitoring at a Partners in Project Green event hosted by Molson Coors in Etobicoke.

We presented at a Partners in Project Green event hosted by Molson Coors in Etobicoke on 14 September 2023. The gathering brought sustainability professionals and manufacturers together at an operating industrial facility.

Our presentation focused on resource monitoring and reducing waste in manufacturing. For a facility team, that starts with a process question: where is water or energy being used, and which change needs attention? The measurement plan needs to help someone make that decision.

Small losses can add up when they repeat across shifts. Looking at the timing of resource use helps connect a broad efficiency goal with a particular process or piece of equipment. It also gives the team a way to review what happens after an operating adjustment.

We supplied our presentation for the follow-up, and Partners in Project Green discussed sharing it with participants. Their account of the site visit describes the day at the host facility.
